Deloris E. " Dee Dee " Haynes, age 92, of Oquawka, Illinois passed away at Great River Hospice House in Burlington, Iowa on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:17 pm. Deloris was born on August 17, 1932 in Biggsville, Illinois and is the daughter of Chester Paul and Elsie M. Dobbs Adair. She was raised in Biggsville, where she attended local schools and graduated from Biggsville High School in the class of 1950. In August of 1958, Dee Dee married Authel B. Haynes in Davenport, Iowa and he preceded her in his death on July 13, 2004. Dee Dee began work for the Bell Telephone Company and worked as an operator for a number years in Little York, Burlington, and Davenport, Iowa. She loved everybody she met and would help anybody in need in and around Oquawka. She took in may kids in her home and most of all loved her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie M. Berry and Mike of Lillian, Texas and Linda Sue Egley-Reynolds of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and her son, Steven P. H
